Oliver is a 50lb 1yo Serbian hound cross. He was found abandoned in the mountains of Bosnia where he waited on the side of the road for anyone to find him. He is up to date on everything. Oliver was treated successfully for stage 1 HW; he has recent x-rays showing no damage. He is now heartworm neg. Oliver is the sweetest most loving dog; he does things at at a quick speed but does the task you ask. He loves people and would love to be hugged a thousand times a day and would love to be a part of someone's life. He loves adventure, the water, the snow, hiking in the woods and the car. He has a high prey drive so he could never be off leash. ... (Read More)He will need a 6ft high fenced in yard. He does challenge a fence at first but once he learns that he belongs he ignores the fence entirely. Oliver is not good at meeting dogs right away; he needs time to get to know them; once he knows them he is fine. Oliver has supreme althletic skills and is agile like a cat; I'm confident he would be an incredible sport competitor. Oliver is also a scent and sight hound he would make an spectacular search and rescue hound. Oliver would benefit from an experienced dog owner who also has hound experience. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting an Airedale in Massachusetts
Airedale Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Airedale Terrier is a lively, intelligent breed. Airedales are loyal and eager to please and respond very well to obedience training. Airedales make entertaining pets and great working or hunting dogs. The Airedale Terrier has a dominant streak and can be very rowdy unless properly trained. Airedale Terriers may play too roughly for very small children, but usually do fine with kids if exposed to them as puppies. Airedales get along well with cats but might bully other dogs in a household with multiple pets. Airedales need a lot of exercise and long walks every day or they may act up and get into trouble.
