     I was astounded by the number of people who wanted information on our lovable Dirk. Although the adoption is not yet complete, I think we found the right person for him.      Thanks to Rescue Me, Sam the Airedale found the perfect home with his new pack leader, Cindy. We knew Sam was not happy with our pack. Our two smaller terriers never accepted him. It was a tense truce for six months after we rescued Sam from a local shelter. He was skin and bones and covered with ticks. In our care, he filled out, learned to run alongside his master during morning workouts in the hills east of our house. But he could not be the amazing Airedale we knew he was with our Jack Russell mix and our rat terrier constantly reminding him he was third dog. He is now in a home where he can rise to the status he was meant to have as top dog. We are so thankful for the help of this awesome organization.

     Thanks so much for this site. Our Airedale Bella was so unhappy when my husband died and I couldn't exercise her due to health problems. We'd had her since she was a puppy. I had many, many responses on your site so was able to be very thorough in checking out her perfect new home. She is now happily in the mountains with a couple who have lots of fenced land, a horse and another dog. Has thoroughly bonded with the new man in her life and I couldn't be more relieved and happy.      I had reported Susan to the local shelter and whoever dropped her off was not the owner but the owner did come and claim her last night after contacting the local shelter. I got two responses to my ad for her and I replied to let them know the owner had come to claim her. I am glad, all is well that ends well. The funny part is Susan lives less than a mile from my home but we have never seen her. My boys are happy that they can go and visit her now. Thank you for your website and I hope to be able to assist financially in the future, but for now, we are barely getting by. Thanks, Amanda

     Jeff, Thank you for your help and for having such a fabulous website. We were going through a rough time with our 2 puppies. (Never had puppies before and didn't realize the amount of time and energy it took). Although we loved them so much, being airedales, they got to be too much. Well we made it through. They will be a year old in December, we've had them since January and we are all doing great.
